Lady Equipoment Auction - Some results

My buddy attended the Lady Equipment Consignment auction today in Tn.
Bought his first tractor....I consulted via phone and text to help him through the process.

Hesston inline baler went for $300.
4 wheel, wheel rake went for $350, looked very nice,
4 seat with dump bed bobcat utility vehicle went for $5600
Massey 165 diesel (wouldn't start) went $1800, pics looked pretty decent,
JD 1020 - $1800
MF 135 - smoking but running, $2300
Massey 245 - $3400, looked real nice

He ended up with a Ford/New Holland 4630, 2300 hours (+/-), looked to be a later model and very nice - $8100.
I told him anything under 7 would be a steal, under 9 is reasonable, over 9 avoid.

I think he will be happy with it.

Read your previous thread on Lady Equipment, and enjoy both your reports.

Now, I have to say...... I can't be the only one that was wondering what the first thread was about, and what type of lady equipment was being auctioned off and if that is even legal? :)

Just one of those names that raises an eyebrow, intentional or not!

Thanks for the info and the chuckles.

No idea. He isn?t a farmer. I asked him what sorts of stuff was selling and what prices. He sent me a picture and $350. Not a Hesston guy myself but I know they make inclined so I guessed as to what it was.
Here is the pic he sent.

Yeah. Just saw the rectangular looking output at the back of the picture. Assumed it was the back of an in-line. Never seen one.

For $900 difference I'd of bought from a dealer with a guarantee, consignment auctions especially those monthly sales are where dealers dump the tractors and equipment they don't want to guarantee.
I'd never go over 2/3 rds what it could be bought from a dealer.
