I have a friend who wants to buy a couple of old tractors from me. I will never restore them as I have too many other projects. One is a 1932 (I think) John Deere D. It's within 200 of the last 2 speeds. It is all there but is stuck. The wheels are cutoffs and the rear spokes are filled with cement. The rear fenders have been cut away to clear the 15 x 32 tires. The other one is a 1937 John Deere B, short frame. It's not stuck but is a basket case. It does not have fenders. The front wheels are dished and the rear wheels are round spokes with broken center castings. In both cases he will put steel wheels on them. What is a fair value? He has offered $1,000 each.
