A friend sent me this link, Leon Helm ...... never heard of the guy. I guess you'd call it slow bluegrass or something along those lines. Pretty twangy but very cool, and some neat farm & tractor scenes in there as well.

Looks like it should read Levon (not Leon) ..... I suspect he's been around for a while. Some bluegrass music I really like. That's a bit slower tempo (is that the word) than most of the stuff I have heard.

Levon Helm was the drummer for the band "The Band."

He passed away a few years ago from throat cancer.

Levon Helm was a drummer and singer with The Band. Probably his most recognized song from that time was " The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" He had throat cancer in the early 90's and that changed his voice. He also did some acting, he played Loretta Lynn's father in "Coal Miner's Daughter", plus a few other movies.

Levon Helm -- he also had an annual concert at his barn in upstate NY .

That was filmed at Gill Farms in Hurley NY. The older gentleman in the blue shirt is Jack, a great guy and a true gentleman, he built up the farm over the years to 1300 acres of mostly sweet corn after getting back from WWII. The farm was sold to Warren Buffet's son a few years ago. Jack passed away in 2014.
