I've had my 1955 Ford 900 for over 25 years. This last year it started moving the transmission oil into the engine crankcase. The only way I think this happens is a rusted hole in the tube passing through the transmission where the oil is picked up easier than through pickup tube in hydraulic chamber, then leaks past the hydraulic pump and ends up in the engine crankcase. The 3-pt works perfectly, but transmission is starting to make noise. I add to the transmission but this ends up in the engine. I need information on my problem. Am I correct? Do I need to tear the tractor down and start some work on it. I have already have the hydraulic pump seal, not installed yet. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Chucklar.
