Looking Down On The Snow

That is amazing! And what really amazed me was when you caught it with your hand. If someone was attacking your place, you could track their every move. Maybe you should attach rockets to it. Ha, ha just joking.
I would like to see what the military is doing with drones now days. When I was in the air force our squadron flew drones.

Looks like fun and at the same time usefull.
Did you ever overestimate your battery range (due to the cold) and have it land unexpectedly, or loose it?
Is "home" the place where you launched it, or where the transmitter currently is?

That is very interesting. We are thinking about getting one before next spring. I will be asking some advice on which one to get. Thanks for posting. Tom

It seems to be pretty safe (so far) as it has the return to home feature. Works off GPS so it will return to land from where it took off regardless of where I might be located with the controller. Although I have never had to try that feature out. It will go into "return home" mode anytime it loses signal.
The only scenario I can imagine it being a problem is if I fly it with the wind behind it too far away and then it might not have sufficient battery left to make it home against the wind. Usually I won't take it up if the wind is too strong though.
And Tom if you are thinking of buying one like it, this is the Autel X Star Premium. My only regret is that I did not buy it in red.
