There is an auction near our place tomorrow.Wish I could go,,,some nice JDs,,they look original and well kept,,I wish I could go,,I wouldnt buy anything, but would like to take my camera and report the results,,I dont know how to post a link,,but if you type in Zett auction and see a sale in New Tripoli,,its the one I m talking about.

Larry, easy to post a link:

Pull up the site you want to link.

Left click the URL, copy.

Go down to the "Optional Link URL:" below, paste.

Then go to "Link Title:", type in whatever you want to call the link.

When you go to the preview screen you can click on the link to be sure it works, then arrow back and post.

At least that's how it works on classic.

I like going to auctions even if I know there is nothing I want to buy. Its fun to look around and sometimes there is something in the small stuff piles I need and didn't even know it until I saw it.

I agree, a farm or estate auction is like a antique machine show often. And some of the best deals I got at auctions were things not even listed

Ah, so THAT'S how you folks do that! I just copy the link, paste it into my post, then highlight the link, then hit the URL button (in Modern View). I like that cause it actually posts the URL so that people can see where the URL will take them. However, some of those Amazon or eBay URL's can be quite long.
