I've need to change the oil and filter in my John Deere BO. I have checked around but am uncertain the correct one. It is a 1937. I guess I could pull the one that is in it and see what I have.

Be sure all of the parts are on the filter base. There's a plate and spring and a retainer ring on the bolt that holds it in. Several
of the old two bangers I have purchased have been missing those parts.
