The 'sassy Massey' (1155) is gone. Sold it.Nice, clean tractor.low hrs. Had some minor 'issues'...But it just didn't work out for me.It didn't 'fit'.And it wasn't an International.LOL!Didnt make any money, but didn't loose any either. But it's gone!!I'm happy-ecstatic!And,you guys who said to 'run'........You told me so! LOL

Lol if you ever come across a 1085 MF run even faster!!! That being said there were quite a few guys around here that got a lot of cheap running from 1105's and 1135's.

I learned my lesson.LOL From now on it's IH red all the way. Why do you think they call me "deltared"? LOL

At least there was a little "blush" to the Massey paint. I had a Dodge Polara car once that felt just enough wrong that I couldn't feel comfortable in it. Jim

Be glad you got out of that MF 1155. Most guys lose their shirts on those money pits. The MF 1105 and MF 1135 where fair tractors but the MF 1155 was usually a money pit.

You got that right! 1456;1256;826Hydro;706turbo;superM;400;M;SuperH;SuperC;F12.Had others over the years, but this is the current 'running' inventory.

Glad you didn't loose money in the end, I would like to get a 1155 someday! People think i'm nuts but I like the 2000 series better then the 1100 series, I have had good luck with the ones we have, but I understand them and that is the key to it I believe, that is how it is with all brands I am sure.

I saw an 1105 with a cab sell last Saturday. Brought $1650,but I guess the hydraulics were shot.

I made the MF mistake a few years ago.

I bought new MF tractors in 2007 and 2013. The tractors were decent (not great but decent) but the people were not.

Neither MF nor their dealer treated me well.

Both MFs are now gone, replaced by Kubotas.

Never again.

Recently saw a nice MF 1080 come up for sale, could barely fetch $2500 at auction. Seller looked extremely unhappy but let it go at that price. Don't know much about them but it just looked like a massive, very capable tractor in good running condition. Way too big for anything I'd need.

We had one,for awhile! It was good for running a lagoon pump but not for pulling! All that weight and big motor but no lug at all.

Hi Well it's gone and you admitted the mistake, Thats more than some would do L.O.L. I find it funny when guys say oh we had 4 of them at once or my neighbors got 3 making hay and never had problems. Yeah only have one or 2 and then put the same hours on less tractors doing heavy field work. I owned that 1135 with the hours and experience it was a pile to!.

I thought I'd fixed everything before I sold mine with a total transmission strip down and go through, Nope it came back as the right thing to do to help the guy out. I had 25-30 hours in the shop going through the hyds testing and replacing stuff , the customer was decent enough to buy the parts though.

It still kept randomly going wrong with other issues to, he sold it after 2 years. The truth was he should of parked it out in a thunder storm, with the loader up high in the middle of 640 acres and prayed it got a strike and burned.
Regards Robert
