Can anyone give me the quick skinny on a diesel Zetor 7340 Syncro FWA w/loader ?
Whats the good, the bad and the ugly?
Same as a John Deere import ??? From India or South Korea ???
Good outfit ? Stay away from it ?
Thanks

Zetors are made in the czech republic. they make most of their own parts the major electrical components are i believe are bosch the front axle is carraro made in italy. they are heavy built . they have a parts warehouse in texas and pennsylvania. they have a factory trained tec. that can address almost any problem if he doesnt know he will call over to europe to find the answer.you can also order parts direct from them. the brake and clutch master and slave cylinders have a habit of loosing their prime up here in cold minnesota winters the company was working on this .the fuel system also looses its prime in the cold .this can be solved by putting on an electric pump or a few pushes of the primer pump . the slave cylinders on the open station tractors tend to get rusty and stick if there mounted on the top of the axle. anyone with basic mechanical shills can fix them. the brakes are kind of a pain to replace as you have to pull the rear axles to replace; if it has a zetor loader they are very heavy built and robot welded but they will only fit the zetor tractors

Friends in Iceland use them exclusively, perform well under harsh conditions. Usually some rust as they mostly leave tractors outside over there. Not a tractor expert but these things look to be made of solid steel. 3 pt hookup looks like it could lift a dump truck.

Don't know. Not for me. A family member is looking for a tractor for an acreage and asked me about it. I was at a lose for information. Not up on these foreign jobs. I think this tractor is 75-80 HP. Large enough to handle a snowblower for the driveway but nimble enough for yard work and rotary mowing. I passed on your information and I sure appreciated your response. Thanks again.

Iceland huh? Isn't that the land that is covered in green and Greenland is covered in ice?
I think they may very well be a stout tractor but the parts and service availability would make me nervous.
I was asked to inquire about this tractor for someone else and I didn't know a thing about them so your info is appreciated.
Thank you very much.
