Wonderful George. Thank you so much for sharing.
thanks for the offer, I sure would if I could. It would be neat to have some flowers in my yard that came from YT boards. I look up to you guys and it would be neat history to have in my garden.

Alright, now you're just showing off! *lol*

Looks great! I see you even had a Black Man Slipper pop up in one of your photos.

I have flowers that I refer to by the person
who gave them to me. The best part is they
have passrd. So it's a way of remembering
them. Like they live on through their
flowers blooming.

Somewhere on your back 40 I wonder if you have an old VW van parked painted with "flower power" pattern on it.

MIKE.
No, I'm good friends with the man who ran the Bug Shop back in the 60-70 s. He even made a trike powered by a VW engine. If I found an old rusted out VW, I might turn it into a flower pot. That would be cool. Both of drove bugs back in the day.

George.........yer #3 pix of BLUE COLUMBINES, (state flower of Colorado) howja keep'um from turning yellow? Mile high Denver has all these yellowish-pink columbines in peoples front yards. Was told it hadd sumptin' to do with altitude. Worked fer Forest Service and went thru fields of columbines, picking flowers and sucking nectar outta the end stems.........nostalgic Dell

Hmm...I tried to make a funny earlier but after re-reading it, it sounds more racist than funny. Minnesota's state flower is the Showy Lady Slipper. So when Geo's shoe got in the photo, I tried referring to it as a Black Man Slipper.

I apologize if that post offended anyone. ...It actually sorta offends me!

I have many differrnt color Columbines, No yellow ones.

I've noticed irises change colors, No idea why. Had tree mums change too. I wish I knew how to make new flowers. Always looking for flowers I don't have.

Beautiful ..... you've done a great job. Funny how the word "garden" is different to me than others. The term always means vegetable garden to me, not decorative shrub and annual/perennial plants, shrubs, and trees. My daughter married a fellow from England and the garden to him is the whole back yard and everything in it whether it be just lawn, or a veggie patch, flowers, shrubs, etc.

I friend just got back from Denver. Many didn't have lawns, just flowers like I've seen on TV places in England that have small yards.
