Some of my YT friends suggested that instead of fixing and putting another axle under the trailer I bought that I just go ahead and buy a new one. Well good news--I found the one I want but the bad news is that I am a little short this week. If I sell the one I gave $1700.00 for and buy the new one for the $30000.00 asking price I will only be $28300.00 short. Now is the time for all my friends to PASS THE HAT and make me happy!!! I will be checking my mailbox everyday. THANKS---Tee

With the Millions of people in this country it shouldn't be too hard to find 30,000 suckers . . . OOPS, scratch that, 30,000 Generous People to each send you One Dollar. LOL

This is your second post poking fun at those of us who tried to help you, I'm not sure a third try would be a good decission for you. Your blatant disregard for the safety of others by not putting propper brakes on your trailer has put me in the perfect mood for it, and over 30 years of real fabricating experience and over 200 verifiable trailer designs and builds to my credit, means that it won't be hard for me to demonstrate just how much your arogance about your fabricating skills excedes your actual skills. After all, we are mot talking about leaving off a grinder shield where if the grinder kicks back and notches a chunk off your junk and it's only you who gets hurt. (this actually happened to someone I know) This is a case of putting others in real danger to save a few dollars, and I don't really have a sense of humor about that.
 
Lighten up--Nowhere did I say what I am going to do for brakes. I have been welding and fabricating "stuff" for over 50 years so I am not a rookie.... You just assumed I wasn't going to put breaks under it and I let you. 200 designs--how much actual hands on building experience? You put out some pretty strong words---Lets see some real pictures of what you actually built.--Tee

Impressive--I'll tell you what--My wife's niece's husband is a patent lawyer, I see him twice a year, Christmas and Easter-But if you tell us all the patent numbers on your designs I can E-mail him and he can post all the pictures and designs of your work. You started this--You have no idea if I am hauling PING PONG BALLS or Anchors For Battleships but you started running down the way I was doing things. Like my Dad used to say "If you can say something nice about somebody-Don't say anything at all..............Tee

I believe in your first post you stated that you were going to haul a tractor and an atv, so that gave enough info to at least get a good idea. After all, I've been listening to folks tell me what they want to haul and designing trailers to do that for many years. As far as patents go, I have none. And there is some real good advice in your last line, I think most would agree that that advice covers making fun of folks trying to help. You have a nice day now.

The sign on the shop was B+d welding when I went to work there which was for Bob and Dave, the original owner and son. Then John Killian bought it and that is when I went to work there. The sign stayed like that for a year or so til John changed it to John's b+d welding. That lasted til we became partners and the name changed to John's welding and Hitch. I'm not sure if the name shows on the grey steel building as I didn't put up a sign right away either, but the move to that building was my move on my own and that business was call North Metro Welding and Supply.

Jim is Jim Panken of Bob Panken Masonry, the son of the owner of several of those trailers and a good customer of both John and I. That trailer was for Jim's crew, each of at least 3 brothers had a crew and at least one trailer. He is still around and in the Isanti Mn phone book so you can call him to check on my story of you like.

What's next, a DNA test to see if the blood on those projects is actually mine and I'm not a cyborg?

If you really want to see evidence that those are mine you can do a search right here on tool talk, look for 4x8 utility trailer which will be the second trailer in the pics, the entire build from start to finnish is there. You can alao search for "handicap lift" for another build of mine that is documented from start to finnish, altho that post has been partially corrupted and some of mine is gone and some of another guys post on an allis is mixed in. I did post when I built the first trailer in the pics too, but did not document that build, however you can see my house, tractor and old truck in the pics I posted then.
 
If you spent more time taking care of your truck and not so much time on here worrying about other peoples business you might get along with the world a lot better...I built my first trailer 41 years ago with a tombstone Lincoln my Dad and I bought together when I was in HS and 2 drop front axles out of 50's Ford 3/4 ton pickups and the frame from a WC Allis, SO DON"T BRAG TO ME ABOUT FABRICATION. Sounds to me you have always been a hired man. ---Tee
 
I worked 2 jobs in my life, 2 years in a factory right across the road from John's shop and 2 years for John before we became partners. Got any pics of these trailers?
 
I forgot, I was also a company driver for 2 years after I closed my shop and before I started at Dart. I was also a subcontractor to EnComm Midwest for a while between my shop and trucking.
 
It is trailer. Tomorrow I will get a picture just for you jon. After I got out of the Navy I worked for years in a factory and farmed on the side. I see your crying posts about your truck-You should have worked in a factory, farmed and tried to raise a family in the 80's with 19% interest at he bank, your nickel and dime bills on your truck would not be the end of the world like you think they are. Seems like most of your posts all you do is complain.---Tee

What do you think I was doing in the 80's? I graduated in 81 and bought 160 acres that year. The reason I started welding with John was because he welded on my combine and at the end of the year there wasn't enough money to pay him, so I asked if I could sweep floors to work off my bill. I cleaned the shop the first day and on the second day started cutting steel for one of those semi trailers. By the end of my first week I was welding on it, all except the most critical parts. By the second one I did most all the welding. That was after taking care of my 100 sow farrow to finnish hog opperation in the morning and after work and farming the land too. Even after the hog opperation was gone I always farmed part time til I started trucking. I guess I didn't realize I was such a complainer. I'll watch that it doesn't happen so much anymore.
 
I am from the south and some people here may not think
much of me on this forum , but Jon post a funny daily and
I believe he puts his pants on one leg at a time like most
of us , if you felt he was crying you should stop reading
and click the back button immediately . I feel as though
he was sharing his life experience with "us" , people he
feels comfortable talking to . I don't personally know
either of you Jon or T but this is no place to bash
someone . I have talked with Jon on the phone and I do
feel he is smart enough to pour the yellow water out of
the boot and read the directions on the bottom.
