JD, just a follow up on the 2355 with the seal leaking on the front drive shaft. Piece of cake.No leaks as of yet.The seal was packed full of grassjunk.Found the guard that someone had taken off and put that on too. thanks for all your help. Tom

Tom I am glad your repair worked out so easy/simple. You should have years of service out of it with the shield on. Just think of how many dollars of hydraulic oil that missing shield cost you.

Yes , i know a lot of oil. Now i see there might be a shield missing on the front as i see there were mounting holes for the like.

A few years ago a friend mowed hay with the farms 2955 with FWA. He got done and noticed oil dripping. Someone had removed the shield and left it off. Not a big deal unless you are going to be driving in tall grass!

come on guy how you expect us ol wrench turners to make a living if you all don't wrap baler twine and grass around axles and front wheel drive hubs i bet i do at least half dozen every years by spring i should have 6 or more tractor through here for that so leave the shields off please

Net wrap seem to do the most damage. Did have an uncle drive across the hay field and wrap up his driveshaft so bad it killed the truck .

Tom the front and rear had shields. #3 is the rear shield. #8 is the front shield under serial number 692608. #10 is the front shield after serial number 692609
