It was 91 in the Austin area yesterday, November 1, but I got 1/2 inch of rain last night. That's more than the whole month of October.

We just set a record for the most rain in October since they started keeping records back in the 1800's. Didn't get much field work done....good thing most of my jobs were finished for the year.
 
We were at 90 here yesterday. Fighting a forklift tire in the afternoon. Sweat was running pretty good. No rain here either.
 
I lived in Waco and Robinson for 10 years. It's amazing how much colder it gets way up there.
 
I don't want to wish any bad luck but 2 of the last 3 years, it was too wet on Plow Day. We plowed last year but it was sticky. Wishing for rain after Nov. 12.
 
It has been in the upper 80s here on the farm in NE Texas.

Cut the last little bit of hay on Monday.

Raked yesterday and will bale later this afternoon.

Grass down in the bottom is still growing.
