I believe I mentioned on another thread a few days ago that there was a clean, straight Farmall H on an auction yesterday. I checked it out and found the engine healthy, but there was a very slight growl in the transmission. The rear tires were good, but did show some weathering with no cracks. Paint was original, but nothing to jump up and down about. I wasn't able to attend the auction so I left a max bid of $2,000 with the auctioneer. (I've known the auctioneer for years, and his dad had several auctions for us over the years).
I talked with the auctioneer last evening. He said it started at $1,000, blew right past $2,000 and sold for $2,500. Guess somebody else wanted it more than I did.
