brush hogged today, took me 4 hours to do 10 feet! thats when the orc decided to blow apart, when i went to town i got the usual blank look, parts kids had no idea what a tractor over running clutch even is, lucky i had an old adapter, so i got some done this evening, but i still have a 140 mile trip to get the replacement over running clutch, in its defense that one has seen 5 years of heavy use so i got my use out of it , and it didnt even bend the driveshaft on the brush hog

Or, how about greasing it EVERY time you use it? My original over-running clutch is over 40 years old and is now on its second tractor and second brush hog. Fifty cent a tube lube is cheap over the cost of a new ORC.

That where I brought mine.
The problem was I put it on and hooked up the rotary cutter. Afterwards I lifted the cutter up and didn't realize until it was too late the pto shaft was now too long. I bent the base on the cutter where the gear box is bolted on and the blades were now hitting the deck underneath. I was glad it was my old 30 year old House backup cutter that I was thinking of getting rid of anyway. I finally got around to working on it yesterday and decided to shim the gear box to level it out again. I haven't tried it yet. I hope it works.

i do that, yours is probably much better quality than what is out there today, also i do custom cutting, in the summer i run mine 6 to 8 hours a day 7 days a week, sometimes more, my place gets its pastures done at night, right now im looking forward to the end of the season, im burned out on this stuff
