By this evening , if all goes as planned, I will be done second cutting. Started 9 days ago , and I
have cut , raked , and chopped or baled 140 acres by the time my day ends. The. I can start in on
the wheat , and oats and barley. Just over 50 acres of small grain, but the time in the field is
starting to get old. Never been a big crop guy, rather work with the cows. Just not practical for me
to have to count on custom harvesting guys. Everyone else wants them the same time that I do,
and I don't like to wait, and watch the quality of my feed decline while the custom fella does
someone else's crop. Time to suck it up and get going I guess. Bruce
