I went up there a couple of times in the '80s.Took my Suzuki r250,my buddy had a 350 Banshee that was almost new the 2nd time we rode.It was always a dream to go back,but it never happened.Too old to go and ride the way I want nowadays!Enjoy it! Mark

Going later in July, been there every year since 1993. Used to have a Banshee, but too old for one now. Have fun on the Polaris RZR now. Be careful, and have fun!

I been wanting to go to Silver Lake, but don't know much about it. I heard there is a waiting list to get in there now. I don't know....Have fun!

I'm getting to old for all of this. I just provide transportation, lodging and meals for the kids. And repairs as needed. I do enjoy going to Lake Michigan and watching other people tear up their equipment.

I will be up there Sat and sun and come home on Monday I have a green ford bronco that my son may be driving part time with the grand kids and I also have 2 Polaris Sportsman Jack

I probably should not admit to this, but the strangest ride my friends and I hauled to the Silver Lake dunes one year was a 1971 AMC Gremlin with duals on the back. It didn't climb the hills very well but we had fun with it. Had lots of pictures taken of it by strangers too. Guess they never saw a Gremlin before...

I will never forget my first ride with Mac Woods Dune Rides. I think they were running International TravelAlls back then. I got to pull the dashboard-mounted knob for the "Super-Dooper Super Upper"(Dad tells me it was an exhaust cut-out).
