No hydraulics! Problem solved.

Some of you may know which brand I am associated with but that's not important here. Near new sub-compact with a mower deck run by a mid mount PTO. New owner treated it like a bushhog! Had the drive line wrapped with grass somehow. With only 18 hours on the machine he complained of no hydraulics after a short time of operating. Turns out the wrapped drive line forced small pieces of grass threw the seal, eventually plugging the suction screen. Goes to show you that problems aren't always what you expect and some can just leave you scratching your head!

Hi I used to sell full sized tractors and service them as a main dealer. We had guys could buy a new tractor and in 4 months our supplier had canceled the warranty due to abuse and in 6 months the tractor was near scrap and looked like 10 years old. It was a waist of time even trying to keep it together with guys like that.

If this guy has 18 hours and done this, I think I'd a told him the problem was so bad you needed to buy the tractor back. I hope the warranty runs out before your patience with a guy like that. It probably won't get better, He clearly has no clue what he's doing with it.
Regards Robert.

Had a nephew who could destroy a tractor in a coupla hours, told him he better become a mechanic so he could fix what he broke. LOL he went to wyo tech, he is a lousy mechanic but they Made him head of maint.

Hi Jacksun Yeah that figures, in most jobs you can't fire the useless ones anymore they have more rights than the owners. About all you can do with them is persistently try to persuade them to leave. or if that fails promote them to a higher desk or upper management job, to get them off the floor and out the way.

My buddy worked at home depot he said they promoted the most useless guy on the floor to a manager and he was no better you just didn't see the waste of space very often. He got head hunted by target Canada and left. look how that deal worked out for them L.O.L, yeah there was bigger issues than him, in reality but i'm sure he didn't help that local store any either..
Regards Robert

Wyoming Tech. We hired a young man who had just graduated from there. Don't know why he came all the way to Minn as he was actually from California. Our shop was a disaster as we had new owners and put one of the machinery guys as service manager. He assigned this young man to job where he had to grind the seats. The kid knew nothing about it. I asked him if he hadn't done that in tech school. He said, no, they just took them apart and put them back together. Well, that didn't work out well. He didn't stay long, and I quit after four years with them. They would not let me help the young guys unless I punched in on the shop ticket also. Had worked for 33 years for previous owner. We were losing customers, everybody mad all the time. I went down the road and worked on John Deere's until I retired.
