I was wondering how to change the cab air filter on my John Deere 4440. This is the first cab tractor I've owned so I'm not sure how to change it or how often I should. Thank you!

The filters are in the cab headliner area.

#2 is the foam recirculate air filter, # 7 is the pleated paper filter for outside /pressurize air.

By unscrewing two knobbed screws (# 10) and releasing a catch (#13) you can take the filter down and inspect it.

removing the foam filter takes a Phillps screwdriver.

Both filters, if in good shape, can be cleaned with shop air and re-used.
