one of the few - if not the only - mills left in my home town of Millbury Mass.

In case you ever wondered where that wool in major league baseballs comes from :)

Sean, no. It's a small town, but I do not recognize the name.

If they lived there 30+ years ago, they'd probably recognize my last name though from my grandfather's, then father's insurance agency in town. Rocheleau Insurance. No longer in business, but at the time I could never say my name without somebody asking "oh any relation to the insurance agency?".

Interesting-thanks for posting. My great grandmother was born in Millbury, Mass. Doubt if you would know them, it was a long, long time ago. Her dad's last name was Stone from Sutton as was her mother's, Bartlett. The Sibley family was also very distant relation. Interesting to see your comments. I think there was a lot more farming in your area when great grannie lived there.

You're right about that! Very little farming going on around here these days - all houses now.

I knew a Stone family in Millbury... Vincent.

The Sibley family must have lived on Sibley road here in Sutton - which coincidentally is where my friend's lost calves are roaming around (I posted about that earlier). Around Sibley Reservoir (which is more of swamp than what you'd think of as a reservoir).
