Working like a mad hatter trying to get into this old farm house.

Thanks so much to everyone for helping me out.....you bought a water heater yesterday.

Looks like lots of room for the 2 of you. Don't work too hard at it. If you need more $$$$ help, don't be afraid to ask. Christmas is coming soon.

It's not a remodeling. The old thing was never finished and now it has to be. We're gonna be roughing it for a few years.

Spotted decor. Goes with anything. It is snowing horizontally here in St. Cloud with visibility at 50 ft. I hope good weather holds for you as winter sets in. Jim

Christmas isn't in the cards for us this year, but we are soooo thankful that we're still above the sod to tell the tale. It could have very easily gone the other way that awful morning.

Yes Sir,

I'm trying to get some heat in the place today.........for some reason, heat scares me now. :>)

Allan & Mrs. Allan,

Glad to see things are coming together. It will be a beautiful home.

A house fire would be terrible... but I'm so glad you are both here to take the rest of life's journey together.

Very nice to hear from you. I assume you have help with the "fix up" work? Looks big enough to have a future dance floor! Were you able to get your farm work completed for the winter?

I see that the supervisor is on duty. Does he growl at you when he thinks things should be done different? I know that he doesn't do any of the work, but that's the way supervisors are!

Keep at it; you'll get it livable soon.

Looks cozy. Sure it will be a beautiful farmhouse. Glad that you and your wife have a new place. I see you've posted a guard to watch the door and leave noseprints on the glass.

I'm not Allan, but I bet that's the house. Look at the bay window and double doors from inside and they match the outside look.

Ron

Yes that is the house they started a few years back and been working on as time permitted.

They still have a lot of stuff to replace they lost in the other house.

You've accomplished a lot. Are you going to have a garage in that house? My recollection is that water base paint will go on and cure better after you have heat in the house.

Best wishes with the rest of it.

Allan, did you know the Williams in Chadron? Friends's wife grew up there but her folks moved south a few years ago. They had a lot of acreage.
