It's a rarely seen and hard to find "Thing That Does Stuff". It has little monetary value, but is highly coveted by "Stuff" colectors

My guess is that it folds down and holds a spray tank, therefore the rust on the sheet metal.

Looks like a grill guard. Doesn't appear to fold down. Looks like it is welded solid at the bottom.

Cast iron steam radiator. Seriously I bet that it is just something that the PO saw that was being scrapped, and he saw that he could mount it on his Case for a grill guard. Any dents in the grill?
