REMOVING BLUE LOCTITE

I used some blue Loctite to secure the air cleaner mounting plate on my lawn tractor after 2 of the 4 came out and went thru the carburetor and one caused a valve to stick open. Fortunately no damage that I know of. However when applying the blue, some squirted down the carb throat and now the choke sticks. Any good suggestions to removing this without removing and disassembling the carb?
Thanks, Roy

Nail polish remover is acetone - and it sells for less than acetone in the big box stores!

We used nail polish remover, because we could not get approval to use acetone. We bought it out of our own pocket.

I used nail polish remover and carburetor cleaner. The access wasn't real good, so I went to the spray cleaner. I worked it back and forth quite a few times. Seems ok now, will see if it sets back up or is good.
Thanks, Roy
