I recently purchased a tractor with a honda GX620. Is there a good oil filter that
will fit the engine that doesn't cost as much as a honda filter? I'm not interested in
using a Fram. Not interested in a lesson on using OEM filters. What filter do you use
on your GX620?
I went to Auto Zone and they had a bosch filter for $7. I looked at it and it was too
small. So much for cross referencing filters. The filter currently on the GX620 is
about 3" OD and 2 3/4 long.
I use a AC delco filter on all my GM vehicles PF47E and they only cost $5. A honda
filter is over $10. If I had my filter wrench handy, I would remove the old filter and
see if the delco would fit, it measures 3" OD and 3" long. Not sure if the threads are
the same size.
