MY lima beans will have nice bushes and blooms but no beans set on, any help will be appreciated.
Thanks Amo

Did you plant them by the right sign of the moon? This will probably get some bad comments from people, but I was raised up doing a lot of things by the sign of the moon. I know a lot of people laugh at that, but I swear by it. I have seen the same thing you are describing happen when seeds were planted at the wrong time. Around here because of the weather this year, a lot of people have had to plant just whenever they had a chance to get in the garden, and a they are having the same thing happen as you. My 2 cents worth.

In all my years of growing my favorite bean, the Lima can be tricky
in NW Pa.. If I can plant them & get them to sprout up out of the ground
without any rain falling on them I will have GOOD beans. If it rains I
end up with ugly plants & few beans... So I always wait for the forecast
is a week of Dry weather... My 2.96553 cents

So you're saying the best time to plant them is when there is dry weather ahead ... but you do water them after they're in the ground right?
