Hydraulic orbit motor oil seal

I have an auger on a gravity wagon I use for dry fertilizer. The auger is powered by a hydraulic orbit motor. I believe the orbit motor is leaking some oil out of the seal around the output shaft. A few questions:

1) How are most augers attached to the orbit motor shaft? I need to pull the auger off the shaft to pull the orbit motor out. I do see a hole in the auger shaft, can't drive anything out.

2) What is the procedure to replace the oil seal? The orbit motor is an Eaton.

3) Where is the best place to look for an Eaton orbit motor seal?

Thanks........

Orbit motor usually has a half-moon key that matches up with the auger center tube. I"d check with any farm equipment dealer for a seal kit.

Most likely going to be looking for a new auger or motor. Usually the motor and auger are fused by the fertilizer and very difficult to separate. What usually happens is the fertilizer eats the shaft away from under the seal so a new seal will not work. Surplus center has a wide selection of hydraulic motors at fair prices. Good Luck BTDT.

The shaft is lickly pitted and wont seal. To replace seal the motor has to completely disambled. The seal is last part that comes out and first to go in.
