So yesterday me and my brother went to a local gunshow, had to pay $6 to get in or $10 and put your name in a drawing for two guns, a .17hmr savage or a ar22, anyways we both paid $10 and put in our names, I ended up buying a 12 gauge double barrel and my brother got a 22lr semi auto rifle, and today I got a call saying I won the ar22 assault rifle so I was happy, it was a $600 gun, can't complain.

Please don't call it an assault rifle. It is nothing more than a .22 semi auto rifle that just happens to look like a military weapon. Gun collectors and shooters need to use the proper terminology. Leave the sensational descriptions for the anti gun crowd.

Sounds like a very good day! I put a AR style stock
and front handle plus a hellfighter night scope.
(strong white light with a red laser) on a old
Ruger semi auto. forgot the big clip. It is a
blast. Now when the dog barks I can go out on the
porch at night and see what is out there and chase
it away if I want. Most fun I have had with a gun
in a long time. Bottom line those stocks are just
better. Fully adjustable and great hand position.
They will be the standard in a few years. Vic
