I made this chili recipe for this evening. Got it off "allrecipes.com"

It's called "Boilermaker Tailgate Chili"

I didn't put all the ingredients in it that were listed but most of them we had and I included them. So far it tastes good. She'll be proud of me when she comes home this evening and see what I've done... Keeping my fingers crossed anyway...LOL

Hope you made enough leftovers to put in freezer for a few days till it freezes. Chili is always better after it has frozen then thawed out.

Since I normally cook, I'm proud of my wife for making a Bacon & potato soup last night while I was at work. She never got a chance to eat it last night because of the kids, so she put it in the fridge and we had it tonight. Had good flavor and nice sized chunks of potato and bacon.

Now I gotta go make sure my favorite pancake pan is clean for tomorrow so I can make breakfast. Chocolate chip pancakes made from scratch (I used to use Bisquick until we ran out one weekend, I found a scratch recipe and they're way better) and some bacon. Not enough eggs to do churrizo & eggs tomorrow. Maybe I can get another dozen from Mom when I'm at the farm tomorrow.

you must know scratch is chicken feed made from
floor sweepings at a feed mill. When asked if I
want something made from scratch I reply just eggs
and of fried chicken.
