Got a flat on our little Yanmar tractor, went to the shop to put a little air in it ( more of a leak than a flat )
I pop the cap off of the valve stem, and I stick the pressure gauge on it, and something starts dripping out the gauge???
We have owned the tractor for a long time, and the previous owner bought it new in 1989, and we were told that there wasn't any ballast in it, and it sure does feel that way!!!
Anyway, the first thing I notice is that the fluid is odor less, NO smell what so ever.
It looks like slightly watered-down red antifreeze? But that would smell/feel like antifreeze?!?!?!
Not sure what it is? Never seen calcium chloride before, but I assume it has a nasty smell to it? I can't smell this stuff?? Any idea as to what it might be?? Bryce
