Anyone heard from Gitrib lately?

I just had a thought as I am on YT every night. Has anyone heard from Gitrib lately? I really enjoy his postings from his past on the farm. I bet he would be an amazing gentleman to meet in person.

He is in a nursing home in Oklahoma and the last I heard he was trying to get strong enough to go to Lake City Iowa to bury His wife. I hope he is OK. Jim

I was thinking about him a few days ago.Really enjoyed his posts.Even got some Emails from him from time to time.Hope all is well.He is about 85 years.

Sorry to hear about his wife. I missed that. Does anyone know what home he is in and town.I have several friends in Oklahoma. Maybe they could check on him.

His wife's burial was scheduled for June 30th and his last post was on June 3rd. He was trying to get in shape to be able to go. I sincerely hope he was able to go, he's truly a remarkable individual.

Went to his FaceBook page yesterday and saw this message from his daughter:

"[b:654c4848f0][i:654c4848f0]Just posting this so Graydon' s friends will know; Dad moved to a nursing home by me. He is currently computer-less, but will be back on in a couple of weeks. Dads health is improving, it will just take time.[/i:654c4848f0][/b:654c4848f0]"

My message to her:

"[b:654c4848f0][i:654c4848f0]I hope that Graydon is doing better and gets back home soon. Let him know that several of his friends on Yesterday's Tractor were asking about him.[/i:654c4848f0][/b:654c4848f0]"

Her message to me:

"[b:654c4848f0][i:654c4848f0]James, I will do that. Dad is doing so much better, eating good, resting well. It will be couple more weeks before Craig brings out the computer. These 100+ degree days make us stay home.[/i:654c4848f0][/b:654c4848f0]"

Sounds like good news to me.

Any one know his wife's maiden name? My wife is from Lake City, IA and may have gone to school with her. We visit Lake City often as we are still emptying a farm home of seventy years worth of stuff. Thanks.
