ford 2 bottom plow

Depends on which model.
If you want parts for an old Ford Dearborn plow the answer is pretty much No.
Wear parts for the later Ford 101 plows are still readily available.

I'm not sure of the model the inspection plate is gone it says Ford in the frame is the only reason I know its a ford. It came on the back of an 8n new of that helps

Do a google search for ford plows then click images to see many different varieties. That'll help you identify it.

I'm sure you can still get parts.

If it has the Ford script logo cast into frame it's
an older model. Are the points cast iron or steel ?
Number of bolts that fasten point? The good news is
that plow can be updated with newer style bottom if
parts can't be found or are too expensive. Ferguson
landsides can be adopted with minimal modification.

Here is an early Dearborn plow. Notice the curved beams. No parts are available for these plows.

This is a late Dearborn/early Ford plow. Usually called an economy plow.
The wear parts for these are readily available.

This is a Ford 101 plow. Notice the straight beams and trip bottoms. The wear parts for the 101 are the same as for the economy plow. Color means nothing as they sold these both red and blue.

Does it look like this one? Not sure the year on it, ford was in script upside down, and the model number 101 like the thousand series tractor era implements, no metal data tag present, its a mechanical trip, you back up to reset it. If so, there should be parts I put all new wear parts except moldboards on this one in 2012. Shares, shins and landsides, I kept a list and measured all the fasteners before I cut with a torch, made it easier to get the order correct, fortunately there is a dealer of ag parts like these that still stocks a lot of wear parts, as they are in an ag community where there is a lot of old equipment. Was just under $200 then, for the parts and fasteners.

If it came on the back of an 8N when it was new then it's probably a Dearborn 10-1 Prior Model if it's a two bottom 14" it's a 10-8 if it's a two bottom 12" plow. The parts are out there but they are expensive.

If you go to new Holland official online parts and type in ford plow it will come up with a list of plows . I did that on a ford post hole digger and I was able to figure out what model I had

This add is in the classified adds on this site. Hope this helps joe

Thanks everyone for all the reply I'll check the new Holland website and i can get some pics if needed if i could email the pics to someone that would be great because I can't seem to get them to upload thanks again

I was able to buy new shares for my 10-1 at New Holland a few years ago, but they were very expensive. The counter guy who waited on me said "gee, I didn"t know we sold any plow shares that expensive"!

The pair was over $200, which was more than I paid for the plow. However now it works! Good luck!
