You are right, don't see that very often. But that will save a lot of people the time it would take to look at it, which in turn, will save time for the seller also.

Back when the popular bumper stickers said, "my other car is a BMW"....I was following a young guy in a FMC pickup and the bed was just about rusted off of it.
The sticker on his rear window said, :my other car is a piece of sh$t too:! made me laugh!

An old ad I liked stated something like "19XX Chevy Truck for sale, price $350 or $400" lol Wonder if someone paid the $400???

Having been a used truck and tractor and implement dealer for years who advertised in papers etc., I can tell you this, in the ad state the year, the make n model, the price and YES to the extent possible, tell BOTH the good and the bad, saves a lot of time and phone calls

If that was 2000 Honda, I would think it was my sisters. She is a musician, things like keeping vehicles up is not in her mind.

Honesty does pay off sometimes. A few years ago, I was selling a skid steer. A young man and his parents came to see it. I pointed out a few things that might need attention or replacing in the near future. They left and said they were going to go look at a few more. Several days later, they called to say that they would buy it, and said my honesty was the main reason they chose mine.

That is what I always figured on used car sales people. If I can see something is wrong and they point it out and even something I don't see, it makes you feel like you can trust what they are saying rather than oh I hope they don't see that. Even had one salesman years ago tell my dad and I that a car we were looking at came from a good home...no rust... well it did have rust on the bottoms of the doors. I thought we can see it has rust on it and your telling us it doesn't?

"Synergy", bad word, never trust or turn your back on anyone that tries to use it in a positive way.

Back in the late '80's when "Synergy" was a brand spanking new word, this is how it was used. People, workers have similar jobs that are not quite the same. So, they get cross trained into each others jobs, that way if someone calls in sick, goes on vacation, someone else can step right in and pickup the slack..."Synergy". On face value, sounds good and reasonable, right? Not long after that happened and everyone was cross trained, down sizing began. Elimination of jobs, and the duties were then split up amongst other workers, but no pay increase. Job after job after job eliminated, duties of those that survived grow with every job deleted..."Synergy" in reality. I was a manager in corporate America when that word became the new buzzword back in the '80's, and again, on face value how it was sold, made sense. In reality, I was then told by my higher ups to start handing out pink slips.

Never ever trust or turn your back on anyone that tries to sell you on the positives of "Synergy". They will shake your hand and smile to your face, and as soon as you turn your back on them... I was around on the ground floor when that word was coined. Never trust or turn your back on anyone...

"missing gas cap" tells me the current owner is too cheap to replace the gas cap, which is to say it has probably had no maintenance whatsoever for a long time. And it still made it to 276K.
