Heavey rain with thunder and lightning. No outages - Just North of Boston.

Just talked with a neighbor, whose son, daughter in law, grandchildren, and son's in laws decided to ride out the storm on a barrier island off NC!
My neighbor didn't get a lot of sleep worrying! He talked with his son this AM, said they never lost power.
Neighbor and I agree that they're crazy.

Heard from my grand daughter stationed at Virginia beach about 2 hrs ago heavy rain and wind but still had power.

Our daughter is heading from Falls Church, VA to Omaha via Lexington, KY and St. Louis, MO by car tomorrow morning.

I'm assuming the heavy weather will be either past her or east of her, or both.

On the coast just north of Beaufort and ground-zero. Eye-wall crossed Cape lookout so got the brunt. Power just restored after being off about 28 hours. Hot and muggy with out AC is tough! Damage seems pretty much limited to downed trees and debris.
