Had to wait quite a while to get it in to the shop I wanted...but it's done. Shop owner test drove it, and said he was real happy how it runs. Happy with how the job went, too. Total bill came to just under $2300, with $800 of that being for the replacement engine.
Wife is VERY happy to have her car back. She's been using either my Mustang or F350 (depending on the weather and if I need the truck) for about two months. If nothing else, she can say she's proficient with a stick-shift now. And I can quit readjusting my seat and mirrors.

That's good news Mark.
I had to chuckle about the mirrors.
Any time the wife and I go somewhere together I generally drive her car.
When I get in I usually grumble about someone having adjusted MY mirrors again.
One of those inside jokes that doesn't get old.

same here on seats/mirrors except; i am expected to return hers to her positions while she just gets out of mine. she's 5'4" and i am 6'3" which makes it interesting for me to enter mine after she has driven it.

Which brings up a good point! Why are men expected to put down the toilet seat, but the wife (SWMBO) can leave the car seat where it is? I'm 6'3" and she is 5'4", so you know what the chances of me getting back in before I readjust! LOL

I married a tall women so we don't have to deal with seats & mirrors. All is not perfect we battle over he thermostat. It wouldn't be quite as annoying if she was consistent but she turns the heat up to much and the AC down too low so I'm uncomfortable both winter & summer. Thought I had here beat when we got the mini van with 3 zone heat & cool, nope she adjusts BOTH front ones. Still beats being single and the kids are great so I layer in the winter and wear the least amount of clothes I can get away with in the summer.
