I asked Mrs Ford if I could post her pic. Beautiful? Blonde?
She seemed to think she should have had my pic up
yesterday! Something about a mule, if I recall correctly.

Bunch of great pictures. You have a lot of barns setting close to road which are not sean in this area anymore. We had a lot of old barns around here 30 years ago but only a hand full left.

YOU DIDN'T LEAVE ANY "B's" FOR US !

Just kidding. Enjoyed all the pictures.

Here is my small contribution....Backhoe

Mr. Larry on the corner,

Picture #8 looks familiar,
When is drove the truck, seems like I saw that barn and oot buildings.
I often vished I had a camera at the time.
I much rather look at the farms and fields than all the cities that I passed through.
Please keep the stuff coming and you have a following.

'Auf wiedersehn!'

Harvey 2 ,,I cant take credit for it,,, feature night is a product of all of t talk, everyones ideas combined ,,, ,That barn picture #8 is on a side road in Berks co PA,,,Have you traveld that area?

Thank You , and that's no B___ . But ...it really is. I guess, but maybe so.....kinda/maybe....hummmm YUP
As Hank Kimball would say.

I go for backhoe as well, only thing is, over here we simply call
them a digger.....mght have to reuse this pic in a few nights time?
But I cannot let 'B' night pass without mentioning the most
important tractor of all time, The Ferguson Black tractor, built here
in Belfast as a prototype for the Ferguson 3 point lift system and
now residing in the Science Museum in London..........Sam

Mr. Larry,
Yes I have traveled thru Berks county many times on the road to E. Green ville,Pa. The company I drove fur had a plant there.
Bethel,Pa. is in Berks county, that is the home of "The Assemblies of Yahweh"
I haven't been thar in aboot 25 years, its been that long that I retired from the road.
The picture looks like it might have been off route 22 that runs parallel to the interstate 78
Thanks for the reply.

Another reason to visit NY where they were made and every summer they have a Brockway meet in Cobleskill NY.

How about "BLIZZARD"? That one missed most of Iowa.. 65 here today so hang on, there's better times a comin'.

(quoted from post at 21:21:36 03/13/14) is that first one rare?I never saw one

If you are talking about the Bolens, the first one was called the Estate Keeper. Bolens built them from 1964-1970 in 7 Hp and 10 Hp versions. That one is a 1964 7 Horse more commonly call the EK7. I wouldn't call it rare, but more like uncommon.

Actually the one on the bottom pulling the sled is the rare one.

It's one of only 3 known to be in the US at this time. It was an "Export only" model and has a 22 Hp 3-cyl water cooled Mitsubishi engine.

My 1950 "B" and my Grandpa and Dad (on seat at age 12) on the day of delivery of Grandpa,s "brand new" 1939 "B".
