Local pork producer/ Uses tractors

I have posted a few times about our local corn market being strong because we have one of the top pork producers in the nation located here local. This week they just showed off another new facility that will require 1.2 million bushels of corn and 11,000 tons of soybean meal per year.
The facility will produce 152,000 hogs from birth to finish. Lots of pork on top of what they were already producing. Word is they produced a million dollars a week of pork last year. Nice to see farming grow local.
 
SHHH Some of my local neighbors think if you produce more than you can eat yourself or sell from a pickup bed you are the evil "corporate farm" they be a rally in the street!
 
This is one of those home grown deals. The owner now 60sh grew up right here. Now has two sons involved but they have never forgot their roots. Some one on here always talking about BTO and this guy certainly qualifies but sure does not act like one. Has hog houses in 21 counties and three states but still pretty much a down to earth type guy. One of the counties largest employers and most folks make a good salary.
 
No Local firm here in West Tennessee . Rumored to be the third largest producer of pork before this expansion , don,t know what this additional output will mean. They sell about a million a week in finished hogs.
 
Where will they put all that poo ?

A HUGE dairy guy here in Ohio got into a lot of trouble trying to get rid of all his. I'm pretty sure now it sold off and got downsized.
