It seems lately were im from people are parting tractors left and right they throw four or five tractors in the back yard and thier in the parts bussiness! Seems like craigslist is were they seem to be popping up on! I dont know i guess it annoys me a bit when i want to save all tractors! O well!

If you truly want to save all those tractors, just buy all of them you see. Very simple problem to solve!

I've parted out about 12 tractors over the last few years, felt some compunction but mostly they were in very rough shape so I didn't worry.

I part tractors all the time. I most are very thankful to get the parts cause where else to you find parts????
Sold a guy a Farmall M hood today. Shipping it clear across the country to him.
I could round up 25 parts M tractors around here. In nebraska they are everywhere.
Where this guys was, can't find them or they want crazy money for them. i sold it for 50 bucks. perfect hood. I got 10 more of them.

Its usually sell parts or take it to the scrap yard much better for someone that needs the parts to be able to buy them.
Typically though no one will buy much just complain once its scrapped.I had an old Dodge pickup with a bad trans ran good and looked pretty good scrap yard said they'd give me $500 if it took it over to them about 5 miles away so I put it on CL for $450 got a bunch of lowball offers then got tired of it all and took it to the scrapyard.In the next couple weeks a couple of the lowballers came by all upset I scrapped it.
Said they would have given me the $450 if they thought I really was going to scrap it.Good grief!From then on if I'm going to scrap something I put a date of when I'm going to take it to the scrapyard and I do it.

If I have a heavy item or items that still have some parts value I will put an ad on CL for something like
"Trailer house axles on Death Row"
$100 cash
They go to the scrap man on Friday 2/8.
No if ands or buts!
