This area they just will not sell. Was several new ones sold but now no dealer support and value just took a dive. Suppose if you are buying it to use might be OK.

There were several sold in our area s few years ago but dealer support was slim to none. $15K sounds a little pricey to me. There are still several around and they seem to be holding up for light tractor work, feeding, pasture clipping and so forth. The only complaint I've heard was that they need more gears and they tend to run a little hot. I've got no personal experience so this is basically here say.

have a dealer ten miles from me
hes actully more into old stuff as well has a JD BR needs to be restored
i buy all my parts from him for my ac wd and massey 135
hes the one that gave me the lead n this unit
hes also a deader for LS tractors and a LS R4041 is the same tractor

The Montana story is a little confusing. I read where in 2011 they were going to stop selling under the Montana badge because LS who built the tractors was going to start selling under their own name. Main thing is to make VERY sure that you are able to get parts when you need them, and not next month!

I was told that J B Hunt trucking of Springdale Ar imported them. I know there was a large yard of them in Springdale on hwy 71, but it is now empty. I don't know if they have stopped importing or moved location. I have not seen advertisements for them in a while.

I think 15k is kinda steep. But, ifn it was me I would go with a brand with a better dealer support locations.

Never heard of them. I know Mitsubishi made a heck of a lethal aircraft in WWII and killed tens of thousands of American soldiers and airmen. There are probably folks on this forum right now whose grandpaws or dads were killed by a Mitsubishi product.

I would do like someone said, buy a Kubota or etc. You will have resale value and be able to get parts. A local car dealer sold them here. Then they were no where to be found. That should tell you something.

Stay the heck away from it. Cheaply built, dozens of common problems, and no parts or service support. Better off to buy a couple year old Kubota or other name-brand tractor.

I guess you shouldn't buy Caterpillar either since
they've had a partnership with Mitsubishi for years
and years.

I believe I'd go look at it. He'll probably come down, sounds like he's been trying to get rid of it for a while. My Son in law bought a Ford with almost half the power, open station, for $18 something. This was back in the 90s, but it's still a handy tractor.

I thank every current member of the military and every veteran for protecting our country any chance I get.

But if we are to stay away from Mitsubishi products, shouldn't we also stay away from ALL Japanese products? Or why not stay away from all German made products too? For that matter we used to be at war with England at one time.

In reality it's a global economy now. How many of us have JD garden tractors or another make with Kawasaki or Yanmar engines? I believe the hydro tranny on my JD 425 is Japanese produced also. It's pretty tough these days to buy something with an entirely U.S. made content.

If you are talking about my comment about Mitsubishi's involvement in WWII, I think if you go back and read what I said, I never said to stay away from them. I was just stating a fact. I would guess they make a fine product.

I am a big fan of German made stuff also. I have 5 Stihl chain saws and one of their leaf blowers.
