I had to read it three times, I thought you left a zero off the price $140,500 for house and acres.

Then I re-read $14K per acre wow!! Not here in Mid-Michigan. 2-4K per acre. Many times with a decent newer house or older farmstead included.

Where is land in mid Michigan selling for 2-4k/acre? A 600 acre farm sold for 6800/acre near me in Ionia.

I just picked up 2 more parcels this spring, just under $3K acre. A lot of what I have learned in the last 20 years are parcels are trading hands and not being put up for sale to the general public. Word of mouth, and most want cash. Which limits me size wise.

Genesee, Tuscola, Sanilac county. Looking two 40s right now on the border of Lapeer and Sanilac.

If you get far into the thumb where the soil gets better you are back into the 5-7K range.
