What loader for a Ford 801 powermaster?

I have written a post 8 or 9 times and it keeps telling me one or more words is not aloud. No curse words not even bad grammar. I just want to post some information about my tractor and ask some loader questions, geez.

I think my account is too new to post pictures. I have located the area behind the starter to verify the serial number on the 801 series but it is not legible. My father restored this tractor with 801 embels but he has passed so I can't ask questions about any hybrid modifications.
I am just wanting to put a loader on it and I read Ford made a 701 and 703 series loader for this tractor. I was wondering what all is involved in adding this feature.

I can pull the image up, that is a nice tractor. We rented a farm when I was little and the owner had an 801 with a factory loader on it. That was a nice combination.

I do not remember the loader #.

Not sure what you are asking -
I have a after market Wagner loader on my 601, I swear it weighs more then the tractor.

801 is the series of the tractor not the model. If it has a 4 speed it is one of 3 as in 821 or 831 or 841. If it has a 5 speed it is one of 2 as in 851 or 861. If it is an SOS it is a 871 0r 881

I am asking what loader would be a good fit for this tractor and also if yall have an idea if it is in fact an 801 or some sort of hybrid? There is no serial number.

It is a 4 speed with reverse at the top left and first on the top right, Fourth in the top middle, second bottom left, third bottom right.

That makes it one of 3 models. If it has a PTO and 3 point that would be the most common 841. If it lacks the PTO or the 3 point then it is one of the other 2 as in 821 or 831

Here is another photo. This is a disel tractor also if that helps. Do you have any insight on a loader? Thank you for the help so far.

Then you know much more than I do as I have owned it since last weekend. It also has some kind of draft control if that is a fature of an 841? I found that it just holds the implement in place?

theres those 2 threaded holes plus one lower down and same on other side of tractor...that is where the ford loader mounted...i don't know the loader # but i believe its different than N series...just my own personal experience, you will learn to hate that tractor without power steering if you mount a loader on it.

The answer for "which loader?" is, whatever you can find.

It's not like you can get a specific brand/model of loader, and conjure it up out of thin air. You could be searching for years to find that particular loader for sale, in decent shape, within driving distance, at a price you're willing to pay.

I'm not sure how universal those Ford utilities are... Such as, if the 801 series is close enough in size/shape to the N-series or the Jubilees or other Ford utilities, that a loader off one of those models would also bolt on to your 841. Hopefully someone else more familiar can comment.

Ideally you would want to find someone with a loader off another 801 series tractor.

Draft control will raise or lower the implement if it pulls different. This will keep a plow at the same level without you needing to monitor it. The plow will pull harder as it gets deeper, so the draft control raises it, and vice versa.

Freeman or Kelly were a popular loader for those. They made brackets to fit a myriad of different tractors for either of those brands. They only had to be close to fitting if you have a torch and a welder. 32 years ago,I took a Freeman off of a Ferguson 30 and made it over to a Deere 1020. It's still on there.

I see it lacks power steering. That is something you will want if you put a loader on or you will start to look like the hulk if you use it much

Position/draft control lever is under the seat on the right side and is about as long as your index finger. Up is position control and down is draft. Most stuff you use it in position but for plowing or disking you have it pushed down for draft control

Is that the start side or the other side?? If the starter side use some paint remover and a rag and maybe some steel wool to remove the paint so you can maybe read the model number and serial number. Either way from what you have told me you have a common run of the mill 841 the only thing that is less common is that it is a diesel

Well my 2nd wife told me one time she was behind me in the car that I was up to 45MPH. Do not know if that was true but with the loader on it and going down hill it scared the living %&$$&%$%^ out of me.
