what does the D suffix stand for at the end of the serial number on a super m?

Thought I could answer it, but don"t see anything in the "Letter Series Tractors" book. I do not see a stand-alone "D" designation. I do see these;
Y1D - Pneumatic tires, swinging drawbar.
X3D - Kerosene, high-speed gears.

What exactly is your complete serial number? You mught just have a zero with a mashed edge.

Thank you for trying. the complete serial number is L- 511117 D J
the letter D looks pretty solid. I dont think its a mashed edge.
