Well in the last 24 hours we have had some 3 plus inches of rain. Had water running over the driveway due to the neighbor setting cattle panels in front of the drain culvert which is under my drive way. The panel catches the draft wood so then clogs thing up and then the drive way becomes a river instead of a road. Oh well normal weather here in Missouri it is either to wet or to dry. By the way the water is very cold I know I was out there moving drift wood and was up to my knees in water

still getting it up here too! And 100% chance for more overnight. I have standing water but am thankful for it. Ponds are starting to make a comeback - may even end up with some hay - yeehawww!

We are up to 6" this week, much appreciated but postpones crops a couple of weeks to dry. It is supposed to be back near freezing by week end.

I don't have the gauge up yet, but we do have a few small ponds in the fields and the road ditches have a little water in them. The frost is out and the rest of the snow is gone. Forecast is pretty much wet into next week. I might have to give up on calling this area the Great Northwest Iowa Desert. LOL. Jim

Both my small lakes are full and then some But one of them catches the drainage off my neighbors place and then in turn is also spring feed and then drains down to the creek. The water is up high enough it is getting out of the banks down steam and in the hay field
