Got the tractor out for 2 hours today just to drive around on the farm... You know, before the inevitable 8 inches of snow hits tomorrow!

Only good picture I got from the seat. Most were too blurry.

Come on Spring!

WD? Glad you got some seat time.
I spent a total of about 20 minutes on mine today, but better than nothing!

n. al. rain last night, rain today and another round
close by. good friday may be dry enough to plant
some green beans and squash.

Yep, WD. Moved some equipment around and took two laps around. Feels good to get it out and drive it. And I was glad it started without too much fuss, either!

(quoted from post at 18:56:25 03/23/13) Nice.... Wish I had new tires on mine too... :)

(quoted from post at 18:56:27 03/23/13) Looks like new rear tires. Sure has been a long winter.

Well, that tire isn't *that* new, honestly, it's been on for several years. The one before it the sidewall blew out of and thus it had to get replaced. This tractor hasn't been run much in the past 5 years (just mowing and gardening, mostly) so it still has that nice new tire tread on it.

I've also only got one new front tire as well. So it doesn't guide quite as straight as I'd like.

I was raised on a WD, riding on Dad's lap, then
sitting on tool box with home made seat belt. I
bought my first WD when in high school we overhauled
and painted it then put duals on it. I started
farming in 1965 with WD and M5. Thanks for picture
brings back memories.

Also managed to pull out this old stalk cutter from the fence row yesterday as well.

Glad you enjoyed it! :)

I remember riding around on grandpa's lap on a WD when I was maybe 5 or 6. Lots of fun memories.
