rrlund, others - another upcoming auction - C Michigan

Ya,I saw that one. Kinda curious about that New Holland round baler. We'll see what the weather is. Got in to the wife's truck. Doesn't look promising. Timing chains are in back, not the front and one is loose as a goose and jumped.

I think he needs to go back and correct that bill. The Mower is a No. 5 Deere and not a No. 4 Deere as the No. 4 is a horse drawn mower and New Idea never made a grain drill, have no idea what make it is.

Wondered about that - we have a No 5, and that sure looks like ours. Don"t have a clue about the drills.

RRLund, don't mean to steal Ray's post here, but are you working on a Ford?
My Ranger had a "modular" engine, one timing chain on the rear, one on the
front so the heads could be swapped side to side.
There was a TSB on them and Ford fixed them for free even out of warrantee.
Been a few years now, but it might be worth looking into.

Thanks a bunch. I'll look in to it. The chain at the rear has slapped so much it's cutting a groove in the head.
