Took a side road ,stump road,figured it would go somewheres.. took this picture along the way,eventually got home!

A lot of hard hand work to build it,work to have heat in the winter and food,no one was at the computer or tv in that house when it was being lived in!

you know it wasn't hand to mouth because it took a lot of time to build so he had some workers and wealth to build that .

If you looked up the words "abandoned" and "forlorn" in the dictionary, that place could be used to illustrate either! But I still like to see pictures of places like that. Thanks, Larry.

At one time that house was someone's brand new home. They moved in, slept the first night, got up the next morning and finished setting up a household. It's a shame to see all that work in gathering the materials, laying up the walls and finishing the building, all by hand, be left to decay. But time goes on whether we like it or not. Jim
