Really neat photos, Larry. The sky is really neat in the first one. Love the old barns and farmsteads.

Larry,

Enjoy your pictures. A lot different than this jungle of asphalt in Central Florida. Thank-You for posting them.
May I ask the area where that last picture was taken? Looks just like a dairy barn / farm that we stayed at while deer hunting, but it has been 35 years ago. Seems like we were about 10 miles or so south of Elmira, N.Y..

The weather sure looks diff down there. Since my last post about Maple Sugaring, the temp dropped into the 20's and has stayed there. Snow flurries every day and no sun. I'm really ready for a change, but weather watchers are only being causiously optumistic about a warmup this week.

Neat pics, Larry. I like old barns and farms just as much as old tractors, I cut cross country no matter where I go just to get the lay of the land and see some old barns. My wife has come to enjoy it as much as I do....

Great pictures, been meaning to comment on your pictures before this.

Those shots could have been from back roads this area, the lay of the land is very similar to here.

Sounds great.

Daughter and I have taken pics a couple times this winter... but hard on the fingers. Sure a lot nice to shoot pics in warmer weather.

pics are great! wish i were there. wondering where the snow is. seems like we have more now than at anytime this winter.

Are there any "big time operator" farms around there? Looks like rolling terrain would be hard on big planters.

there is some big fields in spots,I like to take pictures of the remaining small farms. The whole area isnt hilly but where I was saturday is.As years go by a lot of old barns have fallen down,so when I have a chance I take pictures of some .

Years ago I took pictures of old barns too, I think they're fascinating. I need to get some pictures out and scan them.

Fourth photo from the top, the old barn, looks like you were in a parking lot, must be some development there? Second time I looked I noticed the old house behind it. That whole place was abandoned wasn't it? Couldn't figure what the vehicle under the barn shed was.

I was in a parking lot,of an old hotel in a town called stoney run,the hotel is a fancy type resturant.I know one of the cars in that old barn is a wv beatle

I always stop, and my wife was riding along ,traffic watch,, while I focused.I asked her to go with me ,I wanted to get a few pics and didnt want to be dangerous. If someone came down the road she could tell me,but none did, they are slow back roads,Some I could pull off to fhe side. Now I dont think its so bad, because you can see everything on computer anyway, years ago I guess I could be wrong for taking pictures,I never walk on peoples property, amd I have told my neighbors that I post on the Tractor site,in fact I have posted a few questions for him in the past
