I scanned these pictures from the book Titled; Implement & Tractor Reflections of 100 years of Farm Equipment. If you ever get a chance to buy this book it's well worth it. I scanned the front and back cover of the book which is the first too pictures. I hope you're able to read the captions under each picture.

Wow.....thanks John. I collect pedal and toy tractors. Awesome pics! Went to the Gateway toy show in St Louis this past weekend. As always, the rooms, hallways and auction were packed. Thanks for sharing.

I think this brings the kid out in all of us. We lived close to Scott Air Force Base in Illinois and a military family was being transferred out one year and they gave us a pedal tractor and a pedal car. My older brother and I played demolition derby with them riding around in our old wash-house. All I remember is that they were red. I don't know what ever happened to them. Many military families would give us things if they knew they had to move with the military. One time we got a pet rabbit and it's cage. We had him for 9 years. I made a lot of friends in school that their dad's were in the military and we only got to know each other for a year or two at the most. In my grade school class there were only 8 of us that were there for all 8 classes. Many moved away and one family moved and came back to stay.

Man, cast aluminum! I'll bet those things command a high price from collectors! Thanks for the interesting and informative post.
