The nerve block wore off right at 12 hours like they said. I have been taking the pain pills every 6 hours since then, and it is not too bad. It mostly stings.

I am getting better at typing.

That's good news. Being a proficient lefty will come with time. When I had the shoulder done I was told I would sleep in the recliner for two weeks. The first two days the reclilner didn't work for me so I slept sitting straight up on the couch. I'd just start dozing and I'd suddenly flinch. I'm sure you know what that felt like. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep! Good luck with it. Jim

Just keep forcing yourself to type Dave.
When I crushed my left ring finger it was tough to write and type but I forced myself to do it and it paid off. That was 9 years ago.

Have had 7 major surgeries. The worst is sholder rotator cuff, drags on and on.
