That is very cool. It almost looks like a magazine picture it is so perfect. It is nice to see the things I never get to see in Kansas. I'd imagine there are things we see a lot of here that are the same for you, too. Thanks!

Very nice! They found 2 of those in Omaha Nebraska this fall-WAY south of normal! Both were not healthy. Sure wish I could have taken a nice picture like you did!

When their food source became scarce further north, they used to drift down to our area of ND in the winter. They seemed happy to be there until it started to warm up in the spring, then they disappeared.

Nice shot of the Snowy Owl. We usually see the odd one here in the early winter but I have not seen one yet this year.

Nice picture RickieBlue. Saw one two days ago down at bale stack, didn't have a camera with me at the time. Beatifull BIRDS but can be hard on barn cats. 2 hrs Southeast of Calgary. Rocko.

Last snow owl I saw was on a run up cage at O'Hare airport a few winters back. They usually spent the winter on the field eating rabbits/rats.
