Pig Rustling

Well I never thought I'd see the day but someone has stolen a pig from me it seems.The field the pigs are in goes up close to the road and today one pig was missing and the gates in the cattle catch pens were closed and I always leave them open.Pig weighed a little over 100lbs so not real valuable but never thought I'd see the day.Guess I'm on night patrol for awhile now.

Send them rustlers to TX, they are running wild here. They can have all they can catch.

That was a big problem around here in the mid 1970s, they were stolen by the truckload.

In early 1960's there were two big blonde sisters and their heavyweight cousin. They had been partying a bit in a neighboring town and on the return trip they saw about a 100 pound shoat along the road. The driver said, "I want that d@#$ hog" All three girls got out of the old Rambler station wagon, chased the pig and wrestled it to the ground. Two held it in the back of the car while the other drove, They threw a pig roast. I never kept company with those girls because Mom and Dad said that they are bad company.I wonder what I missed
